Michelle Gillentine

Au.D., Doctor of Audiology Consultant
Born deaf in her right ear, Dr. Gillentine felt her struggles and frustrations would be an asset in helping others overcome hearing difficulties. Therefore, she earned her Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Oklahoma in 1993.

She moved to San Antonio, Texas, upon graduation and worked for a university hospital and an ear, nose, throat clinic.  In her desire to continue providing the best possible hearing healthcare, she went back to school and earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Arizona in 2004.
 

Dr. Curt Whitcomb 

Au.D, CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Whitcomb accepts patients for diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss.  He has been practicing audiology in Idaho for roughly thirty years including a prior stint with Treasure Valley Hearing & Balance, 2002-2008.  He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and his master’s degree in audiology from Idaho State University. He received his Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, 2009.

Dr. Whitcomb developed Idaho’s first Newborn Hearing Screening Program at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center NICU,  testing high-risk infants with Auditory Brainstem Response.

A fifth generation Idahoan, Dr. Whitcomb has a particular fondness for the people of Idaho and is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate audiology and rehabilitation programs that are customized to meet the needs of both adults and children.

With over 25 years of professional marketing experience, Susan is bringing new ideas to Treasure Valley Hearing & Balance.
Some of you may have an opportunity to meet Susan as she implements programs for employers and physicians for our clinics.  But behind the scenes, she also manages our social marketing, our website and gives voice to our overall marketing strategies.

You’re wondering what the Elcox connection is?   Susan has been Jacquie’s stepmother since 1987.
