Connectivity TV listening sets a new standard for hearing aid users. Both in audibility and overall satisfaction, since users will get more out of their hearing solution.
A TV adapter wirelessly transmits the TV sound directly to the user’s hearing aids via the Streamer. Extended bandwidth captures the maximum amount of detail, and low delay times eliminate echo and lipsync problems. The result is a natural sounding TV experience with crystal clear sound, free of noise and artifacts.
With Connectivity TV you can:
- Enjoy a better speech intelligibility through a clear and echo-free sound quality
- Use the Streamer to set the TV volume to their own preferred level
- Switch from TV to Phone at the touch of a button
Ease of use
The TV adapter, which actual size is only 80 mm wide, is easy to install and daily use with the Streamer is both userfriendly and secure. TV listening starts just by pressing the audio button on the Streamer.
The hearing aids will react immediately if the phone rings and pressing the Streamer’s phone button will automatically switch the sound from TV to phone so the call can be taken.
Landline phones often demand holding the receiver at a strange angle, removing the hearing aid altogether to avoid feedback, or using an assistive phone device to improve audibility. Given these choices, who wouldn’t have the signal sent straight to both ears?
Connectivity Phone makes it possible to talk hassle-free on the phone. Through wireless technology a clear speech signal is transmitted directly to both ears and turns the hearing aids into a wireless headset. The result is freedom to communicate clearly with confidence and convenience.
With Connectivity Phone you will be able to:
- Experience higher speech intelligibility
- Take calls immediately, without having to rush for it
- Use the Streamer to switch from the phone to the TV at the touch of a button
Ease of use
Incoming calls are notified in the hearing aids and all you have to do is press a button on the Streamer shortly. Outgoing calls are done by using the phone as normally and transfer the call to the hearing aids via the Streamer.
As part of the Connectivity solution, the phone adapter works simultaneous with other Connectivity applications such as Connectivity Mobile and Connectivity TV. The actual size of the phone adapter is only 87 mm wide.
Having to hold the phone at a strange angle, ask people to repeat themselves and apologize because of feedback; these are three excellent reasons for not using mobile phones in a society that revolves around hearing aid users.
Easy phone conversations
With Connectivity Mobile users can get connected and communicate with new-found ease. The Streamer picks up the signal from the mobile phone and sends it directly to both hearing aids. More and more people use computer for gaming, internet telephony, music, radio, video streaming and enjoy other kinds of multimedia entertainment.
Connectivity PC ensures that through the Streamer, you can turn a pair of hearing aids into a wireless headset when on the computer, and get the sound from the computer directly into your ears.
To make these multimedia entertainment applications work in parallel with the other Connectivity applications it is recommended to use a wired connection between the Streamer and the computer.
